iTunes Quick Tour

The first time the iTunes application is launched a Welcome screen appears by default.
There are four primary options, Learn more; Take a quick tour; No Thanks; and, Agree.

When the Learn more link is clicked, A browser window opens a Sharing Information About Your Library with Apple webpage, which is consumer-friendly page. The content is brief and to the point. It outlines the benefits of sharing your information with Apple. For users who like to read legalese, there is a link to their privacy policy.

From the Welcome screen, when the Take a quick tour link is clicked, iTunes Quick Tour appears in a new window

Once the last slide is reached the Next > link disappears.

I hoped to see some sort of Get Started or even Close button appear in place. Instead user must close the window using standard window controls in top left corner.

The iTunes Quick Tour can be accessed via the iTunes Help menu, however this information is never expressed to the user.

Create a new Password - My Apple ID

When the New Password field is on focus the word balloon appears.

As characters are added the requirements in the word balloon change color to indicate if they are satisfied (green) or not (red.) The password strength appears and changes color as strength changes.

After creating the new password a confirmation message appears.
Chrome browser feature: Would you like to save this password?

Save password is immediately recognized as a button.
The drop down is intuitive, however what is confusing is that the drop down menu is in fact a button itself. The options are accessed by clicking the down carrot. The button is activated by clicking on the label portion of the control.

Are You Sure? - Adobe InDesign

This message appeared when Configure MiniView as clicked.
I appreciate the warning that it may "take a while"
It would be truly helpful to know what a while is.

Give the user some clue as to what it is based on so they can determine how long it might be. Is it based on amount of data, or what?
