This 500 page used a creative on-brand graphic.

After clicking unsubscribe a company has a chance to make an impression.

Headspace has a nice on-brand unsubscribe page.

Reports available: Optical Illusion

I saw this graphic on a website. The two fields of green in the background meet at an angle and make it seem like the entire graphic is sloped downward. I don't think it was intentional.

Be aware of how your graphics may cause optical illusions.

Leap Year 2020

For some reason capturing the calendar on Leap Year seems novel to me.

Powerpoint: Subtitles feature

I clicked "Slideshow" while connected to a projector and this pop-over was displayed.
I was about to start my meeting so I didn't have time to tinker with it.
This really isn't the best time to tell me about new features. Worse off, if I happened to be interested, but not able to explore they didn't offer any information about how to get back to this.

The button label was off-center. I clicked anyway.

This pop-up was displayed.

Notice the bottom-right corner has a system status label "listening."

Here is a detailed view of the pop-over:

I clicked the "Got it" button, and this was displayed:

Again, why is the button label off-center?
The feature seems interesting, but that is not the time to tell me about it.
Perhaps a learning mode or check my calendar, it is integrated.

Knoll Monitor Arm is Very Clever

The monitor arm is a great way to free up space on your desk.
The tension needs to be adjusted on a rare occasion and that is the moment you wish you had the right size of Allen wrench at hand.
Knoll's monitor arm has an Allen wrench holder built right in.
Very clever.

Google Sheets: Cmd+1

Excel has a keyboard shortcut of CMD+1 to open the Format menu.
If you press CMD+1 while using Chrome typically the first browser tab is displayed.
However, when using Google Sheets the application recognized it as a desire to format the cells.
Great UX!

User types CMD+1, and this is displayed:

If user clicks "Show me how" then this is displayed:

Zoom: Auto-launch

I clicked a link from an email to join an event.
Zoom was the video conference platform.
It is nice that the webpage tries to launch the application, however, it does not seem to work very well on Mac.
There should be a checkbox option that allows the user to opt-out of auto-launch.
